De Jackson Pro Series Rhoads-modellen zetten de metal-erfenis voort die door de onsterfelijke Randy Rhoads is ingezet. Metal heeft zich in de afgelopen decennia drastisch ontwikkeld en de metal van vandaag vraagt om een hetere, agressievere klank dan ooit tevoren.
De RRT-5 wordt aangeboden in een klassieke Gloss Black afwerking met gouden slagplaat en hardware. Het is een formidabele V-vormige gitaar boordevol stijl en vette kwaliteiten, waaronder een mahoniehouten body, een met grafiet versterkte doorlopende esdoorn hals met schuine verbinding en een ultragladde geoliede achterkant. De gebonden ebbenhouten toets met 12"-16" samengestelde radius heeft 22 jumbo frets en parelmoeren "sharkfin"-inleg.
Een set moderne Seymour Duncan® Distortion humbuckers vormt het kloppende hart van deze gitaar, met een gebalanceerde, veelzijdige klank en meer dan genoeg output voor zowel strakke cleans als bijtende distortion. De RRT-5 heeft een drieweg elementenschakelaar en een Jackson® gecompenseerde en verstelbare TOM-stijl brug met verankerd staartstuk.

Direct Mount Seymour Duncan® Distortion Humbucking
The Duncan Distortion humbucking pickups incorporate a massive ceramic magnet and hot coil windings to deliver well-balanced rock and metal tones that have rich upper midrange harmonic content. These high-output pickups deliver searing lead tone and crunchy rhythms, and also clean up well for smooth, fluid solos under high gain. The pickups are mounted to the body for increased resonance and vibration transfer, adding more punch and sustain to your sound.
Neck-Through-Body with Graphite Reinforcement and Scarf Joint
True neck-through-body construction has been a Jackson hallmark since 1980, allowing for greater playability and sustain. Neck-through is a method of guitar construction which involves extending the piece (or pieces) of wood used for the neck through the entire length of the body. Graphite reinforcement rods flanking the truss rod provide even more neck stability to help the instrument withstand the rigors of the road.
